Thanks to generous support of our funders, we’re able to provide public performance rights to the film at a 50% discount to rural communities across the country who:

- Are situated outside of major city centers.
- Have the capacity to host a local, public film screening, free to the public.
- Can lead an open-minded conversation about the revitalization of rural America.
If this describes you, please fill out this application and we will be in touch shortly by email to let you know if you qualify for a discounted licensing fee.
I'd like to show Uranium Drive-In to my community. How do I start?
Start by ordering a public exhibition copy of the film through our distributor New Day Films. Public exhibition copies of the film are legally required for all events taking place outside the private home. Once you've secured the public exhibition DVD, use our Uranium Drive-In Screening Tool Kit to plan your event!
How can I purchase Uranium Drive-In for my school?
To purchase Uranium Drive-In for your school, visit New Day Films. For additional educational resources, visit our For Educators page.
I'd like to plan an event in the near future. How much lead time should I allow between purchasing or renting the DVD from New Day Films and holding my event?
New Day Films offers several shipping options, including overnight, 2-day, 3-day, and standard delivery. If you select standard UPS Ground delivery, please allow a maximum of three weeks for your DVD to arrive. Allow plenty of time to publicize your event and do a test-run with your DVD. We recommend allowing yourself a month of lead time between your purchase of the DVD from New Day Films and your screening date.
I'd like to purchase Uranium Drive-In for personal use? Where can I do this?
To watch Uranium Drive-In at home or with your family, head over to the online Uranium Drive-In Shop. Note that home-use DVDs are just for personal use in your own private home. Use in public or school-wide settings is a violation of copyright.
I program a film festival, film series, or cinema, and I'd like to consider Uranium Drive-In. How can I preview the film?
New Day Films offers prospective buyers the opportunity to preview films before purchase. You can fax or mail a request or order on-line with a purchase order and mark 'on approval' in the comments section. New Day will send the video to you with an invoice for the full amount. If you'd like to purchase, just keep the tape and pay the invoice. If, within 10 days, you decide you would not like to purchase, you can return the video and the invoice with a note. You will then receive an invoice for the $20 preview charge.
I'm interested in inviting one of Uranium Drive-In's filmmakers to my school or organization. How can I do this?
Send us a note at info@reelthing.us. We are often able to send the director or producer to campus and community events. Please keep in mind that we are unlikely to be able to send a filmmaker unless you're able to provide a modest honorarium and travel stipend to help compensate for time and travel.
